During Cuballama´s brand expansion phase, we strategically targeted the Cuban-American audience in Florida by participating in the Calle 8 Carnival. Our goal was to create an immersive experiential marketing initiative, inviting prospects to engage directly with the brand.

The Calle 8 Carnival stands as a cultural hallmark within the Cuban-American community, an annual event held in Little Havana that resonates deeply with Cuban heritage. For Cubans, it represents more than just a street fair—it embodies tradition, nostalgia, and a sense of cultural identity.

To authentically connect with this audience, Cuballama orchestrated a vibrant display featuring a “Conga Santiaguera” and dancers, mirroring the traditional Cuban Carnival conga. This rhythmic celebration holds profound emotional ties for Cubans, igniting a spirited urge to dance and evoking sentiments of Cuban pride and longing for their homeland.

As our conga wound through Calle 8, captivating onlookers, the spectacle drew substantial attention from both local and national television networks, generating extensive viral coverage. Moreover, attendees enthusiastically shared the experience through numerous social media posts, exponentially expanding the reach and impact of the brand.

To deepen this connection, our dancers distributed promotional materials and temporary tattoos.
